“Wow!!” That’s exactly what we kept saying during our dinner at Tokki. Raegan was our server and she was fantastic. We enjoyed the Mashi Mandu appetizer, which was very good, along with the Vegan Miso as our entrees. The taste was incredible, and honestly, it’s the best ramen I’ve ever had. To top things off, we had the pleasure of meeting Peter, the owner, and he was extremely nice and welcoming. We had a great conversation about our ties to Georgia (and the Dawgs) and we’re hoping to be able to come back for an upcoming whiskey tasting. Like I said, Tokki is awesome and hands down it’s our new favorite restaurant in ColoRADo Springs! 🤘
Pleasant fun spot to enjoy a night out with friends, family, or the staff. When I say staff, that is because of how friendly, attentive, and accommodating they are. Peter is an excellent hands-on owner who shows that he cares and knows what he's doing. He takes care of the guest and his staff very well. A man who cares about his staff and their well-being just as much as his customers will definitely reap success.
The food was excellent, and the drinks were crafted perfectly. We sat at the bar where our bartender took care of us very well, I believe his name was Branden. He also has a heart for craft cocktails, so we were able to relate on certain topics. The addition of live music is the cherry on top of the whole mood and environment.
Thanks, Peter, for an excellent dining experience.
The vibes were so cool and chill. Not sure if they do karaoke every night, but the atmosphere was super light and fun. The staff were all so inviting and friendly, and most importantly the drinks came with adorable little bunny charms
It was hard to find when we were driving around the parking lot. After we found it, the service started out good. We didn’t have a reservation so we sat at the bar. After we ordered our entrees, I decided I wanted to try out an appetizer. It was probably 8-10 mins before our bartender glanced in our direction and we were finally able to order the appetizer. The service gradually gets worse and worse. We ordered the tsunami tofu, Korean soft tacos, and tokki tonkotsu ramen. Tsunami tofu was about a 3/5. Sauce for it was a bit salty and I would have liked it to be on the side. Korean tacos were 5/5. They were huge like burrito size and I had two of them (one pork one beef) along with macaroni salad. Ramen was about a 3/5. Cha siu was good. Broth was okay. Needed more flavor. I didn’t order any drinks since we were hiking all day in Colorado Springs and I only wanted water to drink. Our bartender (it was an Asian guy) practically ignored us for what felt like 30 mins before he asked if we needed any boxes and the check. Overall it was a 1/5. The atrocious service really brought down my rating even though I liked the Korean tacos. I’ve had better service at fast food places. If you’re looking for food, look elsewhere.
What a great find! We needed some late night ramen, but also found a spectacular band, a fun manager and an amazing server (thanks Ariel)! The food was great and we loved the atmosphere…right from the walk into the “back area” to the lounge like interior. Drinks looked amazing too. If you live in the area, check this place out!
This place is amazing and I don’t think the people who work there and own it could be nicer. I had a drink called the silly rabbit. Just get one, you’ll love it. Music and very cool atmosphere. Will return again and again
I've loved Tokki every time I've been, which is a grand total of 2 times!! 🤣 But the atmosphere, service, and food is stunning. It's a must try!
This is not your typical Korean restaurant. It's a different vibe. The atmosphere is nice and calming with the dimmed lights and live music. This restaurant has a beautiful patio. The owner is always around and is very welcoming. Our server was Ju-On (Not sure how to spell his name). He was super helpful and extremely nice gentlemen. Very attentive. I wish I had gotten pictures of everything but I couldn't get to it fast enough before it was devoured. We got the Gogi lettuce wraps, Say woo tempura shrimp, dumplings, mashi mandu, Choe's chicken, tuna and salmon poke bowl, and Korean soft tacos. Although everything was delicious, I will have to say that my favorite was the porkgogi soft tacos, Choe's chicken, and the tempura shrimp. The drinks were super cute. We even received non alcoholic drinks for the kids so that they didn't feel left out. Will definitely go back. Perfect place to take friends from out of state or just family dinner.
